The English Department of our school successfully conducted various activities and competitions throughout the academic year 2024-25. These initiatives aimed to enhance students’ language skills and confidence while providing them with a platform to showcase their talents.
Academic Achievements – This year, 32 students appeared for the English External Examination conducted by Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. The department is proud to announce a 100% result in this examination. The following students secured top ranks:
First Rank: Bhilare Prathamesh Narendra & Jamdade Arya Sudhir Second Rank: Kirve Anushree Deepak & Tate Rasika Rupesh Third Rank: Kudale Sai Maheshkumar & Tambe Vidit Umesh.
Additionally, several students participated in the English Olympiad and achieved remarkable success under the guidance of Mr. Ashish Kamble, the English teacher.
Student Empowerment Programme For the past 15 years, the Student Empowerment Programme has been an integral part of our English Department. Under this initiative, education experts and students from Salt Lake Community College, Utah, USA, visit our school and interact with students on various subjects. This year, a team of 15 members guided students on Business Management, enriching their knowledge and perspectives. Mrs. Aditi Sanbe played a vital role in handeling this team.
Scholarship Programme Pre- upper Primary Scholarship for std 5th and Pre- upper Secondary Scolarship for std 8th is conducted in the school. English Department gives the best subject results. Mrs. Yogita Pawar (Head of the scholarship department) works efficiently for the best results.
Inter-School English Elocution Competitions In the fond memory of Adv. Lalit Chavan, former director of Yashwant Shikshan Sanstha, our school organized a Taluka-Level English Elocution Competition. A total of 74 students from 26 schools participated. The winners from our school were: Junior Group: 1st
Place: Preeti Sachin Kakade 2nd Place: Taniska Dhairyashil Bhilare – Patil Intermediate Group: 2nd Place: Rasika Rupesh Tate Consolation Prize: Arnav Tushar Chavan Senior Group: 2nd Place: Siddhi Dhanaji Jedhe. The competition was successfully conducted under the leadership of Senior English Teacher, Mrs. Sajeda Patel. Furthermore, in the District Level English Elocution Competition organized by Dnyansanvardhini Prashala, Shirwal, Tanishka Dhairyashil Bhilare-Patil from T. L. Joshi School secured 2nd place in the Junior Category, bringing pride to our school. Ms.Swara Jadhav 9th A secured 3rd position in the English elocution competition orgnized in the fond memory of Dr. Shantanu Abhyankar. Mr. Ashish Kambale guided the students.

Cultural Achievements During the Annual Gathering, our students staged the English play the value of honesty and integrity. Ms. Savita Korde and Mrs. Shital Sapkal played an imprtant role behind the curtain. The English Department remains committed to fostering language proficiency, confidence, and intellectual growth among students. We are fortunate enough to have Mr.H.K.Pawar (Institute inspector), Mr.Ravindra Kambale (Principal,) Mr. Mohan Dhaigude (Supervisor) of our school the part of our department. We all look forward to another year of success and achievement.
